PeaceWaves with ANCB has set up a Group Lead, aiming at building a Network of Afghan Regional Civil Society dedicated at Human Rights and Peace with Justice. PeaceWaves invite the group in Perugia from 1-7 October 2007 for the 7th General Assembly for the People’s UN.

The 60° General Assembly of United Nations has discussed the Resolution for the Olympic Truce during the Turin 2006 Olympics. The extension of the Truce for the Paralympics is a great result, but just a little step forward compared to what we could reach with a shared and participated resolution.
